Violet H Roe

September 25, 1935 - May 11, 2022

VIOLET H. ROE 86, of Dorchester died Wednesday morning at home under the care of family and hospice. Born in Belleplain, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Wilberta Harris and the wife of the late Linwood Pettit and her second husband Bill Roe. Violet lived in Belleplain for 39 years and was a Dorchester resident the past 48 years. She was a member of the Belleplain United Methodist Church where she was the Superintendant of the Sunday School for over 50 years. Surviving are her children, Clay Pettit and his wife Julie, and Linette Langowski, brother, Nelson “Butch” Creamer, sisters, Darlene Saduk and Kathleen Unruh, grandchildren, Jennifer Keen, Amy Sutton, Jessica McGaha, and Nicole Blake, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Funeral Services will be held at the Belleplain United Methodist Church on Monday May 16, 2022, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Tom Novak officiating. Interment will be in Head of The River Cemetery, Estell Manor. A viewing will be held at the church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
