December 17, 1938 - July 4, 2015

RICHARD B. “CAPT DICK” HENDERSON 76, died Saturday July 4, 2015 at home under hospice care. Born in Millville, he was the son of the late Chester B. and Florence M. Carr Henderson and the husband of JoAnne Jacobson Henderson. Richard lived most of his life in Millville and had also lived in Mauricetown. He was a self employed woodworker. He loved wood working, some of his woodwork included, custom stair cases, custom hunting boats, home & boat finish work and decoys, he was also a rail bird hunting guid RICHARD B. “CAPT DICK” HENDERSON 76, died Saturday July 4, 2015 at home under hospice care. Born in Millville, he was the son of the late Chester B. and Florence M. Carr Henderson and the husband of JoAnne Jacobson Henderson. Richard lived most of his life in Millville and had also lived in Mauricetown. He was a self employed woodworker. He loved wood working, some of his woodwork included, custom stair cases, custom hunting boats, home & boat finish work and decoys, he was also a rail bird hunting guide and enjoyed being on the water hunting, fishing and boating, horse back riding. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, JoAnne Henderson (nee Jacobson), 5 children, Brandi Henderson Beggs and her husband Tom Beggs of Colorado, Bonnie Henderson Martin and her husband Francisco of Vineland, Mary Beth Woodlin and her husband John of Millville, Nancy Gandy and her husband Brian of Millville, Rick Henderson and his wife Jenny of Millville, sister, Bonnie Henderson of Millville, 9 grandchildren, Francisco, Jr., Mary Beth Nancy, Brian, Tyler, Ricky, Carol, Chelsea, Taylor and Sarah, 5 great grandchildren, Gabriel, Ashtyn, Ella, Luca and Sophia. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday July 10, 2015 at 6:00 PM at the Fourth United Methodist Church 308 Kates Blvd Millville, the corner of 3rd St. and Kates Blvd. Memorial donations may be made to the LittleJoey.org P.O.
