MARIAN M. THOMPSON 96, of Millville died Friday morning at Cumberland Manor. Born in Port Norris, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Mattie Berry Newcomb and the wife of the late Harry Thompson. Marian was formerly of Port Norris and resided in Millville for 45 years. She retired from Sears in Vineland where she worked as a Sales Clerk. Marian enjoyed sewing and her home. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Milllville. Surviving are her son, Harry Moore and his wife Mariea of Haleyville, step daughter, Susan Porter and her husband Alan of Vineland, grandchildren, Harry Moore, Jr. & Andrea, Brian Moore & Dana, great grandchildren, Harrison, Joey Lynn, and Dylan Moore, niece, Judy Zawoski, nephew, Morris Beiber, friends, Bill & Maryann Johnson. She was predeceased by her sisters, Emma Jackson, Catherine Friswell, and Martha Bieber. Funeral services will be held at Central Baptist Church 2nd & Sassafras Sts. Millville, NJ on Wednesday December 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Haleyville Cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.
